2006 Lexus LS 430 Overview
Introduction
The Lexus LS 430 is the carmaker's flagship full-sized luxury sedan. Complete with all the best amenities, the LS 430 has been described as the 'the hassle-free luxury car.' With a powerful, responsive engine, a smooth, comfortable ride and a cockpit of ergonomic excellence, the LS 430 sets the bar for other cars in its class.
The LS 430 comes with a 278-horsepower 4.3-liter aluminum V8 and a six-speed automatic transmission. Passive safety features include seat-mounted side-impact airbags (for torso protection), rear side curtain airbags and knee airbags, in addition to the federally mandated dual frontal airbags. Amenities include a Mark Levinson® audio system, the Lexus navigation system with rear back-up camera and Bluetooth? front climate control seats, rear seat heaters, and the Intuitive Parking Assist.
For 2006, the Lexus LS 430 changes were minor.
