Cash for Clunkers List of Top Eligible New Cars

The recently-passed Cash for Clunkers program will allow consumers to trade in old vehicles for new ones, receiving up to $4,500 in rebates in the process. In order to qualify for the program, the vehicle you're buying must meet certain standards. All cars must achieve 22 mpg, all trucks and SUVs under 6000 lbs must achieve 18 mpg and all trucks and SUVs over 6000 lbs must achieve 15 mpg (combined city and hwy).
