The Hottest Selling Cars In America
Posted Jul 2, 2014
Sales were up almost across the entire board last month as Americans flock to dealers in droves. Even recall-embattled General Motors saw sales improve one percent in spite of the thrashing the company has been taking in the media.
A big chunk of overall auto sales came from 15 different cars and trucks, which we have included for you in this gallery. These are the sedans, SUVs and pickups that have car shoppers headed to dealerships.
The American automakers continue to take the top spots on the best-selling list, which experts say is due to continuing dominance in the full-size pickup segment, in addition to pushing new products meant to compete with Asian midsize and compact sedans.
