A Stealth Audi -- Great Car
As an all-round transportation machine that's really fun to drive and a good value, the VW Passat Wagon V6 4Motion is almost impossible to beat. After 55K I've had no problems at all. The car is nimble, taut, fast, comfortable, and exceedingly good-looking in an understated way. Having owned Mercedes, Volvo and Subaru wagons, this Passat tops them all hands down. I highly recommend this vintage VW.
Review of 2004 Volkswagen Passat
I really loved my passat until it started having these coil problems. It seems that it is very prevalent in passats for the coils to go out because they are made very cheaply. My repair shop said he sees passats coming in all the time with this problem and VW refuses to recall them. I have lost alot of days off work because of this and once had to rent a car.
Come on VW do something or I will never buy another VW again!
