I love ******** perky ,stylish and very comfortable. Pick up on the highway is dead on ,doing 80 she is stable and smooth. The interior is fun and comfortable. I get lot's of compliments on how she looks and big guys like me don't feel cramped. You could serve a complete Thanksgiving dinner on top of the dash there is so much room. I own an older model also, a New Beetle 2002, the gas mileage I get from it is usual. 32-34 Hwy miles, and approximately 24-28 City miles...not bad at all. The fuel economy range shown here is for the 2008 New Beetle only considering they have 3.0 engines in them now. The 2002 has a 2.0. Gas fill up usually runs me about $35-$45 depending on geographic.
