I'll keep my 2006 model TDI. I get above 50mpg without trying...and I love the car.
2010 volkswagen TDI
Just can't believe the gas mileage. Have 2500 miles on the car and have avg 42.6 mpg. Lots of torque. Just an easy car to like.
Fun TDI with great Mileage
I traded in a 2004 Cadillac CTS for a new 2010 VW Jetta TDI. The car is reasonably quick and agile, and is comparably equipped. Driving to and from work, around town and through the foothills of central Kentucky, I managed to get 41.6 MPG and 41.8 MPG on the first two tanks of diesel. It is easy to pass, steady on hills, and the engine never seems to be working hard. The torque of that TDI is remarkable. I'm looking forward to my first long road trip and expecting even higher MPG. Mileage keeps going up
I started with the first tank and got 32mpg, second 35mpg and now I'm up to 38mpg with just a 1000 miles on a 2010 jetta diesel.
