This is the first foreign car I have ever owned.It will be the last and never ever another VW. I have spent more in repair on this car than all American made cars I have owned combined and I am 48 years old.The car does handle ok for the size,if you can keep it running.Repairs are outragously expensive.I paid $100.00 for a small rubber hose that you can only get at the VW dealer.The car is not very comfy and is way way overrated.I will stick with a brand new Chevy Cobalt for half the price with …

I got my 2004 Jetta new and 5 years on it still runs fantastically well! People always ask me how much work I've had done to keep it running and the answer is none. As long as you take it for regular servicing this car has yet to let me down. It is a comfortable ride and despite only have a 4 cylinder engine, has fantastic pick-up and is an overall fun and peppy car to drive. Handles very well and turns on a dime. A great price and lots to offer.
