2008 Volkswagen Eos

After 5,000 miles I still love the car. It does transmit road noise, but is, overall, a smooth riding car. The Dyn-audio is worth the extra money. Trunk space is limited, but I knew that going into the deal. I find the on board computer confusing and not user friendly. My biggest fear is being rear ended when the top is in the trunk....toataled city!

My love for Volkswagen started in the early 80's with a manual jetta. It was one of the best cars I have ever driven and this is comparing it with everything from the turismo to the C230 Compressor. Also comparing it to the Rang Rover and the SRX. It was time to look for a new car and I thought the Eos was the one. I took one for a test drive and was shocked at the handling of the vehicle. Finally I was going to purchase my first convertible beetle only to find it uncomfortable and unpleasant to drive. The sales person kept telling us about the EOS, so, disappointed and exasperated we asked to see the EOS. Not all that thrilled with the look of the EOS with the top up, boy was I surprised when that top went down, the look of the car was very impressive!
