2006 Toyota Sequoia Overview
Introduction
The Toyota Sequoia is well engineered and offers high levels of build and finish quality. It is every inch a truck while being a very comfortable SUV and relatively quiet.
The Sequoia comes in SR5 and Limited trim levels. It seats up to eight-passengers and provides ample cabin space. For better off-road capabilities it is available with four-wheel drive and has 10.6-inches of ground clearance. It is powered by a 273 hp 4.7-liter V-8 that sends power to the rear wheels. It is controlled by a five-speed automatic transmission. Standard driving assists include anti-lock brakes and Vehicle Stablility Control.
For 2006, the Toyota Sequoia is a carryover from 2005.
The Sequoia is a truck-based SUV that seats up to eight passengers. It comes in rear- or four-wheel drive and features things like a rear liftgate with electric window. It is powered by a 273 hp 4.7-liter V8 that is mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. On the four-wheel drive model a button can be pushed to turn 4WD High on and off. Safety features include antilock brakes, electronic stability control, front side-impact airbags, and side curtain airbags.
For 2007, the Toyota Sequoia gets more standard safety features.
The 2008 Toyota Sequoia is well engineered and offers high levels of build and finish quality. It is redesigned for 2008 to be an even more capable and comfortable SUV.
The four-door eight-passenger Sequoia comes in three trims: SR5, Limited and Platinum. Available in rear-wheel or four-wheel drive the Sequoia's powerteams are a standard 276 hp 4.7-liter V8 engine with five-speed automatic transmission or a 381 hp 5.7-liter V8 engine with a six-speed automatic. Standard safety features include front side airbags and curtain side airbags, antilock brakes, traction control, and electronic stability control.
The Toyota Sequoia has been redesigned for 2008, including a new independent rear suspension and available 10,000 lb towing capacity.
The 2010 Toyota Sequoia is a large SUV that is capable of towing a trailer while safely transporting the whole family in comfort.
The four-door seven- or eight-passenger Sequoia comes in three trims: SR5, Limited and Platinum. Available in rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, the Sequoia's powerteams are a standard 310-hp 4.6-liter V8 engine or an optional 381-hp 5.7-liter V8 engine; both are mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include driver and front passenger knee airbags, anti-lock brakes, traction control, tire pressure monitoring system, and electronic stability control.
For 2010, an all-new 4.6-liter V8 engine is offered, along with upgraded standard features across all trims.
