2008 Toyota Camry Overview

Introduction

The Toyota Camry sedan continues to carry its reputation of safety, reliability, and quality while offering fuel efficiency, space, and power.

The Camry comes in four trim levels plus a Hybrid model, which was introduced last year. All are five-passenger, four-door sedans. All four trim levels, CE, LE, SE, and XLE, come standard with the 158-hp, 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. A 268-hp, 3.5-liter V6 is optional for the LE, SE, and XLE. Depending on the trim there is the option between a five-speed manual, five-speed automatic, or six-speed automatic transmission.

For 2008, the Camry carries over from its 2007 redesign with the addition of two available upgrade packages.
