2006 Toyota Avalon Overview

Introduction

The Toyota Avalon is one of the best full-size sedans today. It takes full advantage of the latest technologies in safety, efficiency, performance, and it's roomy, smooth and comfortable.

The Avalon is available in four trim levels: XL, Touring, XLS, and Limited. All come with a 3.5-liter V6 and five-speed automatic transmission with a sequential-shift feature. Safety features that come standard on all models include driver and front-passenger airbags, seat-mounted side-impact airbags, side curtain airbags, and a driver's knee airbag. Active safety features include anti-lock brakes, Electronic Brake-force Distribution, and Brake Assist. Optional on all Avalons are Vehicle Stability Control and Traction Control.

The Toyota Avalon is a carryover from 2005.
