2007 Suzuki SX4 Overview
Introduction
The Suzuki SX4 is an all-new subcompact car that comes standard with all-wheel drive. It is reasonably sporty and offers versatility with the looks of a stylish mini-SUV.
The SX4 comes in two trim levels, the SX4 and the SX4 Sport. Each is available with a five-speed manual transmission or four-speed automatic. Safety features include six airbags: front driver and passenger airbags, driver and passenger side-impact airbags and side curtain airbags. Four-wheel ABS with electronic brake-force distribution, a tire-pressure monitoring system, and seatbelt pretensioners are also standard.
The Suzuki SX4 is brand new for 2007.
The Suzuki SX4 Crossover is a small five-door wagon that comes standard with Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive (I-AWD). It is reasonably sporty and offers versatility with the looks of a stylish mini-SUV.
The SX4 is available in three trims: Base, Convenience, and Touring. The SX4 is powered by a 143 hp 2.0-liter all-aluminum four-cylinder engine mated to a five-speed manual transmission (four-speed automatic is optional). Standard features include front, side-impact and side-curtain airbags, and four-wheel-disc antilock brakes.
For 2008, a sport sedan has been added to the SX4 lineup. The front-wheel drive sedan comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and upgraded shocks. The SX4 Sport sedan uses the same powertrain as the wagon and is also available in a Base, Convenience, or Touring trim. Upgrades for 2008 include a new power fuel door remote release. Also available is Bluetooth, automatic climate control, sport pedals, and heated outside mirrors.
The 2009 Suzuki SX4 is a small five-door wagon or four-door sedan. Sporty and versatile it is available with front-wheel or Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive (I-AWD).
Available in Base, Technology, and Touring trims the SX4 is powered by a 143-hp 2.0-liter all-aluminum four-cylinder engine matched with a five-speed manual transmission (four-speed automatic is optional). Standard features include front, side-impact and side-curtain airbags, and four-wheel-disc anti-lock brakes. New for 2009 is a standard Electronic Stability Program and traction control. Technology and Touring models includes a navigation system. Also available is Bluetooth, automatic climate control, sport pedals, and heated outside mirrors. The front-wheel drive only sport sedan comes with 17-inch alloy wheels and upgraded shocks.
The 2009 Suzuki SX4 is mainly a carryover from 2008.
The 2010 Suzuki SX4 is a small five-door crossover or four-door sedan. Sporty and versatile the SX4 has attractive looks and great value. The horsepower has been increased for 2010 and the transmissions available are new, a six-speed manual or a continuously variable transmission (CVT). A Sportback Touring trim is new on the front-wheel drive crossover.
The crossover is available in Base, Technology, and Touring trims in front-wheel or Intelligent All-Wheel-Drive (I-AWD). The sedan is available with front-wheel drive and comes in Standard, LE, LE Popular, Sport, Sport SE and Sport GTS trims. The SX4 is powered by an upgraded for 2010 150-hp 2.0-liter all-aluminum four-cylinder engine matched with a six-speed manual transmission. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) is optional. Standard features include front, side-impact and side-curtain airbags, and four-wheel-disc anti-lock brakes. Electronic Stability and traction control programs are standard on the crossover, available on the sedan. Sport, Technology and Touring models include a navigation system. Also available is Bluetooth, automatic climate control, sport pedals, and heated outside mirrors. The Sport Sedan and Sportback Touring come with 17-inch alloy wheels and upgraded shocks.
The 2010 Suzuki SX4 carries over from 2009 with some additional features.
