2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara Overview

Introduction

The Suzuki Grand Vitara is a solid competitor among compact SUVs because of its off-road capabilities and its utility in everyday life, offering a comfortable and competent drive.

The Grand Vitara comes in one trim level which is the base model. The SUV comes equipped with a 2.5L V-6 engine, which outputs 165 hp @ 6500 rpm and 162 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm, and either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission. Though rear-wheel drive is standard, 2-wheel and 4-wheel drive systems are also available. The Grand Vitara promises fuel economy averaging 18mpg to 21mpg for city and highway driving. Standard features are front disc brakes, and dual front impact airbags. Optional features include a sunroof and a removable roof rack system. As well, the Grand Vitara has several modules to choose from including: a bike module, a ski module, and a luggage module, each of which add extra features designed specifically for the preferred task.

The 2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara differs at the trim level only from the 2002 model.
