Introduction

The Suzuki Grand Vitara is a solid competitor among compact SUVs because of its off-road capabilities and its utility in everyday life, offering a comfortable and competent drive.

The Grand Vitara is available in three trim levels: the JLS, JLX, and the Limited. The standard engine for all three trims is a 165 hp @ 6500 rpm and 162 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm, 2.5L V-6 engine, which is teamed with a 5-speed automatic transmission, though the JLS and JLX trims offer the option of a 5-speed manual transmission as well. The 2-wheel drive vehicle is availble as either a JLS or Limited, while the 4-wheel drive SUV is available as a JLX or Limited.
