2008 Subaru Tribeca Overview
Introduction
For 2008, Subaru's largest offering, the Tribeca SUV receives a new engine, a redesigned exterior and the B9 moniker has been dropped.
Two versions of the Tribeca are available: a five-passenger and a seven-passenger. Both share the same powertrain, a 256-horsepower, aluminum, 3.6-liter flat-six driving all four wheels full time through a five-speed SportShift automatic. Each is available in standard and Limited trim. Safety features include dual-stage frontal airbags, seat-mounted side impact airbags, curtain airbags, active head restraints, and a tire pressure monitor.
For 2008, the Subaru Tribeca drops the B9 label and receives a redesigned engine and exterior.

NHTSA rates crash-tested vehicles by assigning them one to five stars, with five stars indicating the most injury protection and one star indicating the least protection.
