Introduction

The Subaru Outback is the perfect all-around vehicle. Its efficient sport-wagon design provides commendable off-road capabilities with ample space to carry all the equipment your adventure may require.

Depending on the trim chosen, the Outback uses either a; 170-hp four-cylinder, 243-hp turbocharged four-cylinder, or 245-hp six-cylinder engine. 3 distinct transmission are used; a 4-speed automatic, a 5-speed automatic, and a 5-speed manual. The five-speed automatic transmission provides manual gear selection using steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. Power is sent through the standard full-time all-wheel drive. A unique SI-Drive system is also available that allows three different driving modes: "Intelligent," "Sport" and "Sport Sharp".
