I have owned many different cars and trucks. Nissan Maxima, Altima, BMW, Toyota truck, Chevy Silverado, Ford explorer, pontiac, and even a dodge. I wanted to get a smaller car with better gas milage. The bought a 2008 Subaru Outback LLBean model. This is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I love the styling, it handles exceptionally well. The rear seats fold down very easily to give us the room we need for large items and traveling with our doggie. The horizontal flat 6 boxer engine is very smooth and responsive. The low center of gravity makes this car handle like a sports car. The full time symetrical all wheel drive is very good on all different road conditions. ( I have not tried in the snow yet...) Every car should have all wheel drive! It feels very secure and solid on the road. The gas milage is better than I expected. I am getting 22 mpg in the city and 25 on the highway. I was concerned buying a high mileage vehicle (95K) but it looks, feels and drives like a new car. The leather seats are nice but a little too hard and small. I don't think a large person would be happy in this car, but it is fine for me.

When the ecomony started tanking in 07 I decided to refrain from the fancy european imports that I had previously owned. While I loved the BWer and the Jetta 6 cylinder was fun to drive, VW's quality sinks and I had $6,000 of repairs in one year for a car with mileage under 60K. So I traded her in for a new Outback. I have had only minor problems and despite it being a striped down version it has been a good car to drive. Certainly not as much fun as my husband's 320i or the Jetta. However, I have peace of mind. During the blizzard of 2009 and 2010, the Outback was able to conquer the snow magnificently. I have since named her Snowqueen.

I have owned many cars over the years including 5 previouis Subarus as well as many high end foreign and American brands and the 2008 Subaru is the best car I have owned. They are well made, low maintainence, handle well in snow and on wet roads, get 30 mpg highway, hold their value well, and fun to drive.

I purchased my 2008 LLBean in June and I LOVE IT! This is my 3rd Outback Wagon and the the 7th for our family. I always feel safe and secure in my Subaru and know I can get anywhere! It is quiet, solid and FUN to drive. This is my first Navigation system and am anxious to become familiar with ALL the features! I would definitely recommend this car Subaru thinks of everything!!. Once you get hooked, that is the only car you will buy. So far the mileage has been above expectations!

We've only had it two weeks but we're already very impressed with our Outback wagon. It looks nice, rides and handles very well, and is very quiet inside. It already gets better fuel mileage than we expected, and it only has 500 miles on it. The car gives you a very secure feeling in every respect. It feels very solid and is sure footed on and off the road. We have a farm and driving to the sheds and barns with feed is normal everyday stuff for us.

Our last two vehicles were GM. They were much more expensive and both were extremely disappointing. We'll never go back to GM now.
