Review of 2005 Subaru Outback
5 speed trans. is a pain , until you figure out how to use the shifter for up hill driving. It's a very good vehicle so far,dose everything I need it to do. It's great in snow !!
A lemon that couldn't be fixed
Bought new, my 2005 Subaru was towed four times in 20,000 miles. Each time the check engine light went on during highway driving. Car stalled on steep hills, paint peeled from door handles, dome light worked occasionally, upholstery on back seat pulling apart despite the fact that it was seldom used. Bizzare headlights did not shine above 4 feet above the pavement. It took two seperate trips to the dealer to get the driver side seatbelt repaired. Dealer was unable (or unwilling) to determine …
