2008 Subaru Impreza Owner Reviews

I've now had this car for almost 7 months. There have been absolutely no problems. This car is solid and well built. This car has no squeaks, rattle, or any other problems found in a lot of new vehicles. The fit and finish of both the interior and exteriorof the vehicle are excellent. When I purchased the car, the dealer included oil changes for $10.00 for as long as I own the car. So far the car has had 2 oil changes and a tire rotation for a total of $34.00. I've had small FWD cars since I started driving. This car blows them all away. I've always wanted one, I finally got one. I should have done this long ago. The hatchback was more but the hatch is so versatile. Sports gear, groceries, landscaping material it all loads up well. I've grown fond of hatches (see grocery-getter) lately so I opted for the hatch over the sedan. The hatch offer more utility and hauling as we own two cars but still need to more and haul things. My first Subaru was a 2007 Legacy Wagon but when the 2008 Impreza hatchback appeared, I couldn't resist. The Subaru AWD system is AMAZING; any loss in fuel economy is easily outweighed by the added safety of AWD. Minor deficiencies: No engine coolant temperature gage & when driving after dark the rear signal lights almost disappear when the brakes are applied. Hopefully Subaru will address this in the 2009 or 2010 model. Bottom line: I will definitely buy another Impreza!

Love the new style and AWD, great in the rain and light duty off road abilities. The interior is spacious, especially for a family of four like our. I got admit, front seat are somewhat uncomfortable, especially the passenger side! Overall a good car!
