2003 Subaru Impreza Outback Sport Overview

Introduction

The Subaru Impreza Outback Sport is the more rugged 5-passenger, all-wheel drive wagon version of the popular Impreza.

The Outback Sport has a 2.5L engine that outputs 165 hp @ 5600 rpm and 166 lb-ft @ 4000 rpm. For 2003 there is only one trim level available; however customers have the option of choosing either manual or automatic transmission. As well, 4-wheel ABS comes standard on the Outback Sport. Other popular features offered on the Outback include: a 6-disc in-dash CD changer, auto-dimming mirrors, carbon fiber trim, and various bars and racks for carrying and roof storage.

In terms of mileage, the Outback Sport averages 21mpg in the city and 27mpg for highway driving.
