Introduction
The Subaru Forester is a crossover vehicle that combines some of the best attributes of a sport-utility vehicle with the ride and driving dynamics of a car.
The third generation Forester features a wheelbase that is 3.6 inches longer than the previous, and comes with a choice of two engines: a 2.5-liter turbo engine and a 3.6-liter engine. All Foresters come with Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. Standard safety features for this vehicle include side-curtain airbags with a rollover sensor, four-wheel disc ABS brakes with brake assist, and a stability and traction control system.
The 2009 Subaru Forester is completely redesigned and is in its third generation. The Forester now has a longer wheelbase and more standard safety features.
