Scion tC Base 2dr Coupe

The Scion tC is a well-equipped yet affordable coupe that benefits from Toyota's attention to quality, durability and reliability. It is marketed towards the young first-time buyer looking for a sporty and hip urban vehicle.

The tC is powered by a 180-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, paired with a six-speed manual transmission; a six-speed automatic with manual shift mode is optional, while an electronic power-assist steering system contributes to increased fuel efficiency. It is offered in one well-equipped trim level, with features that include a panorama sunroof, 18-inch aluminum wheels, air conditioning and cruise control, as well as power windows, mirrors and door locks. The tC's Pioneer sound system features HD Radio, Bluetooth audio streaming, MP3 capability and direct iPod connectivity, along with a regular auxiliary jack for other types of portable music devices. Standard safety equipment includes stability and traction control systems, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, eight airbags, tire pressure monitoring and a first aid kit.

After a complete redesign last year, the Scion tC carries over with minimal changes for 2012. A new Pioneer sound system with Bluetooth audio streaming and HD Radio technology is standard. Additionally, a limited edition Release Series 7.0 will be offered, featuring exclusive High Voltage yellow paint, black 18-inch alloy wheels and a TRD body kit, as well as black and yellow seat upholstery and a Smart Key passive entry/start system.
