2006 Saturn Relay Overview
Introduction
The Saturn Relay is designed to look like a sport utility vehicle, but it drives and operates like a minivan.
The Relay has one name and two numbers: Relay 2 and Relay 3. They both come standard powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine mated to a four-speed automatic. The Relay 3 now has an optional 3.9-liter V-6 available. Front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available. All have seven-passenger seating, with four bucket seats and a three-across split folding rear bench seat. Dual frontal airbags are standard. Front-seat side-impact air bags are optional.
For 2006, the Saturn Relay has a new V-6 engine option.
NHTSA Frontal Crash Test
NHTSA rates crash-tested vehicles by assigning them one to five stars, with five stars indicating the most injury protection and one star indicating the least protection.
