2008 Saturn Aura Overview

Introduction

The Saturn Aura five-passenger, front-wheel drive, mid-size sedan combines impressive performance, a well-equipped interior and a fresh Euro-look character.

The Saturn Aura comes in three trim levels: the four-cylinder XE which has a 169 hp 2.4-liter Ecotec engine, the six-cylinder XE with a 219 hp 3.5-liter V6, and the more powerful XR which boasts a 252 hp 3.6-liter V6. Both XE models come with a four-speed automatic, while the XR comes equipped with a TAPshift six-speed automatic transmission. The XE trims come standard with features like: four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, 17-inch steel wheels with wheel covers, cloth upholstery, front and side airbags including an overhead curtain, air conditioning, satellite radio, cruise control and power mirrors, windows and door locks with remote keyless entry. The XR trim adds: Stabilitrak, dual-exhaust outlets, heated exterior mirrors, fog lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, heated front seats, power driver seat, carpeted floor mats, an upgraded audio system and a remote engine starter.

For 2008, satellite radio and the four-cylinder XE trim was added.
