Happy 2012 3500 Mega cab owner
I ordered a 2012 mega cab 3500 4x4 ram white with tan leather seating. I love this truck and have owned 5 other Dodge heavy Duty models all purchased new. This model is quaility better on inside and driveline than my 2009 I traded. The 800ft 6.7 is much better towing and power than the 2007 or the 2009 6.7 I have owned. A 'Best Of' for towing
We have the 1 ton dually, 4WD, crew cab, diesel, manual trans, and trailer 4 horses nationwide to barrel race events. Loaded trailer is approx 12,000 lbs. Fuel mileage not wonderful, approx 10mpg. Empty, driving 65mph, it can get to 22mpg. We have trailered with the Dodge diesel for approx 12 years. We have friends who were driving Ford or GMC diesel and traded for the Dodge. Big improvement reported by all. We plan to continue with the Dodge diesel, dual, manual for all our trailering needs.
