The Ram 2500 offers bold styling with an aggressive "grille-forward" design, interiors with premium materials and innovative features, and big power from a choice of engines, making it ideal for work and play. Four revised grille designs and a premium headlamp lighting system with a bi-functional halogen projector design and amber turn-signal LEDs are available. For 2013, new features and technologies create opportunity for a redesigned interior with material upgrades, improved fit and finish, all-new interior themes with different colors and materials, and new multimedia systems.

The Ram 2500 provides something for everyone with the choice of three engines, three cab styles (regular, Crew and Mega cabs), four wheelbases and either 4x2 or 4x4 drive types. The standard 5.7-liter HEMI V8 is mated to a 6-speed automatic and produces 383 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft of torque. The optional 6.7-liter Cummins diesel features 660 lb.-ft. of torque with the class-exclusive 6-speed manual, and 800 lb-ft of torque when equipped with the 6-speed automatic transmission. Previously available to fleet customers only, a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) 5.7-liter V8 runs primarily on natural gas but can switch to regular gasoline when the CNG tanks are emptied. The standard trailer hitch is upgraded to Class 5. Heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, heated steering wheel, power adjustable pedals, Keyless Go passive entry, rear parking sensors, and a rear backup camera are available. New Uconnect stereos feature USB connections for electronic devices, available 8.4-inch touchscreen, Bluetooth connectivity, HD radio, and UConnect Access that provides new connected services and applications, a wi-fi hotspot and emergency services. Electronic and infotainment choices include a remote CD player, navigation system, and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system. The RamBox cargo management system includes illuminated storage bins built into bed rails and can now be locked (along with the rear tailgate) with the remote key fob. A new center high-mounted stop light (CHMSL) camera provides a view of the bed for monitoring cargo.

For 2013, the Ram 2500 has been extensively revised with new powertrain combinations, new grilles and headlights, redesigned interiors, innovative new audio systems, and a variety of unique premium features and technologies.
