1999 Porsche 911 Overview

Introduction

The Porsche 911 remains the iconic symbol of a sports car.

The Porsche 911 comes as either a coupe or a cabriolet in either a rear-wheel drive or an all-wheel drive configuration. The 911 Coupe and Cabriolet are powered by a 296 hp @ 6800rpm, 3.4-liter four-cylinder engine. This car gives you anywhere from 16 to 25mpg of fuel economy for city and highway driving, respectively. Available in either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 5-speed automatic transmission, the Porsche 911offers both front and side driver and passenger airbags, 4-wheel disc brakes, anti-lock brakes, leather seats and automatic air conditioning. As optional features, the 911 provides 18” Alloy Turbo wheels, heated front seats, 6 disc remote CD changer and Traction Control with Tiptronic.

The new 911 is the most advanced car Porsche has ever built, and it's one of the best sports cars in the world.
