The Pontiac Torrent is a crossover SUV that is closely related to the Chevrolet Equinox and Saturn Vue.
The Torrent is a five-passenger front- or all-wheel drive crossover SUV. It comes standard with things like: fog lamps, rear skid plates, MacPherson front struts, independent rear suspension, and aluminum 16-inch wheels. It has 8-inches of ground clearance. It is powered by a 185 hp 3.4-liter V-6 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission. Standard safety features include antilock brakes, front airbags and an electronic stability system.
For 2007, the Pontiac Torrent receives stability control, all-disc brakes, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
