The Pontiac Solstice is a two-seat convertible combining power, a host of amenities and a stylish appearance for an affordable price.
The Solstice comes in two trims: the Base and the GXP. The Base is powered by a 173 hp 2.4 liter Ecotec four-cylinder engine and the GXP has a 260 hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. Both engines are mated to a five-speed manual or an optional five-speed automatic transmission. The Base comes equipped with: four-wheel disc brakes, 18-inch alloy wheels and satellite radio. The GXP adds: Stabilitrak, dual-exhaust tips, sport-tuned suspension, anti-lock brakes, cruise control, security system, power mirrors, windows and door locks with remote keyless entry.
For 2008, the Pontiac Solstice receives a premium headliner, satellite radio, an enhanced message center with a tire pressure monitoring system and Onstar.
