The Pontiac Grand Prix is a family-size car with custom-car styling and a performance-car attitude. It is a fine mover, a good stopper, a fair looker and a reasonable handler.
The Grand Prix is a front-wheel drive mid-size sedan that seats up to five passengers. For emergencies and roadside assistance it comes equipped with OnStar. It is powered by a 200 hp 3.8-liter V-6 engine in the base model. The GT has a supercharged 3.8-liter V-6 that makes 260 hp. The GXP comes with a 303 hp 5.3-liter V-8 engine. All models utilize a four-speed automatic transmission.
For 2006, The Pontiac Grand Prix looses some trims and gains a Special Edition model.
