Introduction

The Panoz Esperante is a rear-wheel drive exotic convertible that is a rare day-to-day sighting.

Available in one trim level for 2003, the Esperante's 4.6L V-8 engine, which produces 320 hp @ 6000 rpm and 315 lb-ft @ 4750 rpm, is teamed with a 5-speed manual transmission. An all leather interior, 4-wheel disc brakes, ABS, and 17” alloy wheels are just a few of the standard features on this impressive and truly unique vehicle. As well, the Esperante averages 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway driving, which is very reasonable mileage for a sports car of its kind.

For 2003, several modifications have been made to the Esperante, including a fully aluminum body and chassis.
