Stay away from Nissan!
They offer Powertrain warranty for 60 months, but denie your claims after the general warranty expires without reasonable explanation. The Fuel Pump failed on my 2005 Sentra at 25 300 miles and 4 months after general warranty expired. The Fuel Pump is specially mentioned in their Warranty Booklet as covered by the Powertrain Warranty for 60000 miles or 60 months. In spite of that they told the my dealer that they will not cover it. I call Nissan twice about that. Got no reasonable explanation. Was told that the Regional Specialist will call me to resolve this issue - nobody called. In addition to that, had 2 other problems with the same car previously with rear brakes (they also tried to charge me for that even the car was on warranty) and the broken gasket between the engine block and the cylinder head. The car was not misused or modified. I use it for everyday commute to work. Mileage is less than average. Their quality is less than acceptable and customer service is useless. Think twice before going with Nissan. Better go with Honda or Toyota.
