2007 Nissan Murano Overview
Introduction
The Nissan Murano is a crossover vehicle that integrates function and high fashion. It combines sport-utility cargo capacity and sporty driving dynamics.
The Murano, in front-wheel drive, is available in S, or SL trim. Order the all-wheel drive system, and an additional SE trim is available. All models are powered by a 3.5-liter V6 mated to Nissan's Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission). Safety features include dual-stage frontal air bags with seat belt sensors, front-seat side-impact airbags, full-cabin curtain style head-protection airbags, and active front head restraints. It also comes standard with four-wheel vented disc brakes with ABS, brake assist, and electronic brake-force distribution.
For 2007, the Nissan Murano receives a tire-pressure monitor.
NHTSA Frontal Crash Test
NHTSA rates crash-tested vehicles by assigning them one to five stars, with five stars indicating the most injury protection and one star indicating the least protection.
