2008 Nissan Maxima Overview
Introduction
The Nissan Maxima is an individualistic, indulgently luxurious, powerful, innovative and stylish full-size sedan.
The Maxima is a mid-size four-door sedan with a 255-hp 3.5-liter V6 engine and front-wheel drive. The only transmission available is a continuously variable automatic (CVT). The Maxima is offered in two distinct trims: the sporty 3.5 SE and the more luxuriously equipped 3.5 SL. Safety features that come standard include the Advanced Air Bag System with dual-stage front air bags, front-seat side-impact air bags, and curtain side-impact air bags for front and rear outboard occupants; and front-seat active head restraints. A sophisticated traction control system and a tire-pressure monitor also come standard.
The Nissan Maxima carries over from 2007.
