2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Overview
Introduction
The Mitsubishi Lancer combines curves, creases and angles into an attractive compact sedan package offering visual evidence of underlying dynamic capabilities.
The Lancer is offered in three trims: DE, ES, and GTS. DE and ES trimmed Lancers come with a 152-hp, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine teamed to a five-speed manual transmission (continuously variable transmission optional). GTS trims come with a more powerful 168-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. Each Lancer trim level is distinguished by its seating materials and interior trim. Safety features that come standard with all Lancers include airbags and a tire-pressure monitoring system. Only ES and GTS come standard with ABS with electronic brake-force distribution; optional for DE model.
