2004 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Overview

Introduction

The Mitsubishi Lancer combines curves, creases and angles into an attractive compact sedan package offering visual evidence of underlying dynamic capabilities. The Lancer Evolution is an All-wheel drive sport sedan, which is available in 2 different trims: RS and VIII. The vehicle runs on a 271 hp @ 6500rpm 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine which typically uses 18 mpg for city driving and 26 mpg for highway. Both trims come available in a 5-speed manual transmission powering out 276 pounds-feet of torque. The newly added RS model provides ultimate performance for this years Lancer line, due to a reduced weight of 50 pounds. However, with this increase of speed, ABS, air conditioning, rear wing spoiler and power aspects have been eliminated on the RS model. Standard safety features include dual-front airbags and ABS brakes.
