2003 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Overview

Introduction

The Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution is the faster, sport-performance version of the popular Lancer sedan.

The Lancer Evolution is a 4-door, all-wheel drive vehicle equipped for both rally competition and everyday driving. The vehicle is available in one trim, which comes with a 2.0L turbocharged inline 4-cylinder engine and a 5-speed manual transmission, which produce 271 hp @ 6500 rpm and 273 lb-ft @ 3500 rpm. Four-wheel disc brakes and ABS are also both available on the Evolution, which averages 18 mpg city and 26 mpg highway driving.

For 2003, some of the more sporty features that come standard on the Lancer Evolution are racing bucket seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
