2009 Mercury Milan Overview
Introduction
The Mercury Milan is a midsize sedan that shares much in common with the Ford Fusion and was based off the Mazda6 platform. It is Mercury's entry-level car.
The Milan comes in two versions, either front-wheel drive, or all-wheel drive. The standard front-wheel drive powertrain is a 160-hp 2.3-liter four-cylinder engine, which is mated to a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. A 221-hp 3.0-liter V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission is standard on the all-wheel drive model and also available on the front-wheel drive version. The Milan Premier comes equipped with 17-inch machined aluminum wheels, leather seating surfaces, and the premium six-disc CD changer with MP3 and six speakers. All trims are standard with anti-lock brakes, dual-front, side-impact and side-curtain airbags.
For 2009, the Mercury Milan comes standard with satellite radio.
