2009 Mercury Milan Review Summaries
What reviewers liked most about the Mercury Milan:
The Milan is pretty well-equipped. Standard items include air conditioning, a power driver's seat, cruise control, an AM/FM/CD/MP3 player, a tachometer, a tilt-telescopic steering wheel and power windows, heated mirrors and locks with remote keyless entry.
-- MSN Autos
Estimated fuel economy is decent: 23 mpg in the city and 31 on the highway with the 4-cylinder and manual transmission and at 21 and 29 with the V6 and automatic.
-- MSN Autos
What reviewers liked least about the Mercury Milan:
...a driver must be careful backing up because he can't see where the rear of the car ends or what's directly behind it. Too bad no rear-obstacle-detection system is available.
-- MSN Autos
While deep, the covered front console bin has room only for smaller objects.
-- MSN Autos
The Milan is quick with the V6, which works with the responsive 6-speed automatic transmission and loafs at 2100 rpm at 70 mph. But expect just average highway performance with the 4-cylinder engine, which has considerably less power and torque.
-- MSN Autos
The Mercury Milan Premier's 221-horsepower V6 engine and Japanese Aisin six-speed automatic transmission give the driver the kind of power we all like when it comes to getting across the intersection or getting out of a tight spot, but there's not a lot of reserve after that, and there's not a lot of satisfaction in driving it hard.
-- New Car Test Drive
