I've owned a lot of different cars; sizes, power, comfort levels, old, new, used. I got my 1999 Grand Marquis when it had 32,000 miles on it. Except for replacing a window motor I have not had any problems with this vehicle. I get a good 18mpg, with the a/c on around town and close to 21 with the a/c off. And around 26-29 on the highway depending if I drive 70 or 80. Just don't do any drag racing with that V-8 or you will pay for it in mileage and tickets. Over all, a very solid car.

We've owned Nissans and Volvos and VW's in our 45 years of marriage and this car has given up more comfort and less aggravation than any other I can remember.
