Even though you are purchasing a "Mercedes" no longer means the same thing it used to mean. I have an ML500. I have had more problems with this vehicle in the past 3 years than I have had with any vehicle I have ever owned. I have already had an oil leak fixed (valve covers replaced), power steering pump/hoses replaced, rear latch quit working, emergency fuel latch quit working, etc. I would definatly recommend getting extended warranty if you own one of these.
