Review of 2008 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
There is very little hidden storage space available, there is much less room in the back of the station wagon, entry and exit are difficult because of the lower headroom and less legroom, gas consumption is worse than the 1999 E320 station wagon traded in. I wish I had kept my old MB wagon - it only had 120,000 miles on it, and was still running fine.
Review of 2008 Mercedes-Benz E-Class
My E-Blutec is almost perfect; a pleasure to drive. The navigator is easier than my former Lexus; had it down pat in two weeks. Mileage 25mpg to 35mpg with air on at all times. No problems whatsoever. Mercedes is back!

SUSPECT QUALITY
THE MERCEDES E-CLASS HAS SUSPECT QUALITY. I HAVE HAD NUMEROUS PROBLEMS, ALONG WITH OTHER DRIVERS THAT I HAVE ENCOUNTERED. THE LACK OF QUALITY IS SURPRISING TO ME. I EXPECTED MORE FROM A CAR THAT BARES THE MERCEDES NAMEPLATE. MERCEDES HAS TO GO BACK TO THE DRAWING BOARD. THEY HAVE GREAT LOOKING CARS, BUT SUSPECT QUALITY.
