2006 Mazda MazdaSpeed6 Overview

Introduction

The MazdaSpeed6 is a turbocharged, all-wheel-drive version of the Mazda 6 sedan carefully tuned by Mazda's performance division.

The Mazda Speed6 is designed to offer impressive levels of performance and handling, yet still be sufficiently comfortable for the daily commute. All-wheel drive helps put to work its 274-horsepower turbocharged engine, its close-ratio six-speed manual gearbox is remarkable for its easy, smooth-shifting action, and its suspension is firm so that it can corner sharp turns with less sway. For traction and handling purposes, the Speed6 comes with a dynamic stability control system and anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution. In the interior, it comes with sporty fabric or leather upholstery and other luxury features.

The Speed6 version of the Mazda6 is completely new for 2006.
