2006 Mazda Mazda5 Overview

Introduction

The Mazda5 is a six passenger vehicle that blurs the lines between wagon and minivan in a trendy and exciting way. For families who want to get out in style, the Mazda5 offers the benefits of a minivan or wagon, while still remaining stylish and fuel efficient.

The Mazda5 comes in two trims, the Sport and the Touring. Both offer different levels of options and creature comforts. The only engine is a 157-horsepower, 2.3-liter inline four-cylinder that delivers 21 city and 26 highway miles per gallon. A five-speed manual transmission is standard, a four-speed automatic optional. Safety features include dual-action frontal airbags, plus front seat-mounted side-impact airbags for torso protection, and head-protecting side air curtains for all three rows of seats. All passengers have three point seat belts.

The Mazda5 is completely new for 2006.
