2008 Mazda MAZDA3 Overview

Introduction

The Mazda3 is a premium compact car, exciting to drive and look at, and equipped with unexpected luxury features, all at a reasonable price.

The Mazda3 comes with three levels of available equipment: Sport, Touring and Grand Touring. The entry-level i-model (sedan only) is available with a fuel-efficient, 148-hp 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine, while the sporty s-model (sedan and hatchback) is equipped with a sophisticated 156-hp 2.3-liter four-cylinder. Standard or available safety features include six airbags, 4-wheel ABS, stability and traction control, xenon headlights and tire pressure monitoring.

For 2008, the Mazda3 carries over with little to no change.

NHTSA Frontal Crash Test

NHTSA rates crash-tested vehicles by assigning them one to five stars, with five stars indicating the most injury protection and one star indicating the least protection.
