The B3000 is a small pick up built for Mazda in collaboration with Ford.
The B3000 comes in three variations: regular-cab Dual Sport, Cab Plus 4-door and Dual Sport Cab Plus 4-door. Rear-hinged back doors are unique to the Cab Plus. It is powered by a 148 hp 3.0-liter V-6 mated to either a five-speed manual transmission or optional five-speed automatic. Its front suspension consists of double-wishbones with coil springs and a stabilizer bar which all rides on 16-inch wheels. Antilock brakes and driver/passenger airbags are standard.
For 2007, the Mazda B3000 is largely a carryover, but it does receive a new tire pressure monitoring system.
NHTSA rates crash-tested vehicles by assigning them one to five stars, with five stars indicating the most injury protection and one star indicating the least protection.
