MINI Cooper

The Mini Cooper is a sporty compact with excellent handling. The shortest car on the road, it can be parked in the smallest of places. Yet it seats four, with surprisingly roomy back seats, and it can carry a generous amount of cargo.

The Mini Cooper comes with 115-horsepower available as a convertible or hatchback. The hardtop Minis are four-seat, three-door hatchbacks. The Mini is front-wheel drive with a transversely mounted 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine. The John Cooper Works performance kit includes a high-output supercharger, performance cylinder head, stainless steel sport exhaust, sport-tuned ECU, high-flow injectors, cold-firing sparkplugs, electronic low-restriction airbox, JCW-logo silver intercooler surround, valve cover authentication plaque, JCW brake kit with 11.5-inch vented front rotors, performance front calipers painted red with JCW logo, larger performance-composition front and rear pads, and a limited slip differential. Safety features include anti-lock brakes with electronic brake force distribution, front airbags and front side-impact airbags, curtain-style head-protection airbags for all passengers, seatbelt pretensioners, and a crash sensor that automatically unlocks the doors.

For 2006, The MINI Cooper gets a new Checkmate trim package with exclusive interior and exterior modifications is now being offered for sedan models. And the John Cooper Works performance package can now be ordered as a factory-installed option or as a dealer-installed option.
