The Mini Cooper S has a 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine capable of 163hp @ 6000rpm and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, which takes you from 0 to 60 in 8.43 seconds with 155 pounds-feet of torque. For a vehicle of its size, the Mini Cooper S ranges in fuel economy from 34mpg to 25mpg for highway and city driving, respectively. Standard safety features include dual airbags, ABS brakes, and power locks and windows.

The Mini Cooper S basically remains untouched for the 2004 model year.

Features such as Xenon headlights, Park Distance Control, stability control (hatchback), rain sensing wipers and front and rear fog lights are optional.
