2006 Lotus Exige Overview

Introduction

The Lotus Exige is a small, compact sports coupe roadster. As a coupe variation of the Lotus Elise, the vehicle is made for drivers who strive for performance on everyday driving as well as on the track.

The Exige has seats for only two and comes equipped with a lightening fast 190 horsepower, 1.8-liter in-line 4 cylinder that produces 138lb-ft of torque at 6800 rpm and propels the small roadster from zero to sixty 4.7 seconds. Interior and exterior features are completely race inspired and suspension and acceleration are among the Exige's strong points, featuring track quality and industry respected parts. Body paneling and the cab roof are constructed out of fiberglass.

Changes for 2006 are insignificant.
