2005 Lotus Elise Overview
Introduction
The Lotus Elise is a small roadster that is known for its razor sharp steering and no compromises track car feel.
The Elise is a small two seat soft top roadster. It weighs a mere 1,975 lbs and has four-wheel fully independent suspension. Somewhat sparse on the inside, the Elise doesn't pretend to be a luxury car. Its main purpose is to go fast around a track and that's what it does. It is powered by a tuned Toyota 190 hp 1.8-liter, 16-valve four-cylinder engine that is controlled by a C64 six-speed manual transmission.
For 2005, the Lotus Elise makes its first time appearance in North America.
